I bought this movie after following the acting career of Matthew Macfadyen. I thought Matthew was very good as Paul as he came across as being natural in the role. The movie started off a bit slow, but eventually builds to a huge, mind boggling climax. I was shocked and terribly saddened at the end. Halfway through, I thought how could this be a thriller? But it all becomes horrifyingly true. That is why I am giving this movie five out of five stars. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed this film because I have visited NZ. I like this sort of film (not all special effects etc), although a tragedy it has a message to carry and there were some lovely times for the characters during the unfolding of the story. Well acted, casted and location. I would recommend to a select few of my family and friends. Quite a slow pace. Value for my money.
