I bought this book wanting to get an insight of what it is like for the very few Irish men in the peleton today and wasn't dissapointed. Life as a pro cyclist is a tough life but with a fathers name Stephen Roche a previous tour de France winner of 1987 didn't make it any easier. The book tells the story of long endless days in the saddle and his up and coming journey of life as a pro cyclist. It tells a thrilling tale of life on the road, with all it's glory, suffering and heroism. Having read previous books on cycling this was by far my best read. A great read on one of the toughest sport in the world.
