Details about  Joachim Sandrart 1684 Romae Antiquae big folio book 69 plates (3 missing)

This is a quite rare and interesting ancient book, the title is ROMAE ANTIQUAE ET NOVAE THEATRUM, by Joachim Sandrart, dated 1684 and printed in Nurberg by Christiani Sigismundi Frobergii.
There are 69 plates, many of them folding in double page, as follows:
9 plates with numbers and stars, 34* 35* 35** 41* 42* 42** 42*** 43* 50*
2 double not numbered plates
one of this plates is a map of Rome Ancient.
Average condition, the pages are separate from the cover, wear and repairs, some yellow expecially on the first 20 pages.
There are 3 plates missing, one is a large folded map of Rome, two are one-page plates of a church. I want to say that a sale in Christie's shows a book with only 69 plates istead of 72, and it was sold for 4548.00 euro.


Trattasi di un libro antico interessante e raro, il titolo è ROMAE ANTIQUAE ET NOVAE THEATRUM, di Joachim Sandrart, edito nel 1684 a Norimberga presso Christiani Sigismundi Frobergii.
Completo di 69 tavole, molte composte da doppia pagina, ovvero:
58 tavole numerate
9 tavole con numeri già esistenti ma con asterischi, 34* 35* 35** 41* 42* 42** 42*** 43* 50*
2 pagine doppie non numerate
una di queste tavole è una mappa dell'Antica Roma.
Mancano quindi 3 tavole, una grande mappa di Roma, ripiegata, e due singole di una pagina con la chiesa di san Pietro.
Condizioni normali, i fogli sono slegati dalla copertina, diverse riparazione e molto giallo, specialmente nelle prime 20 pagine, rilegatura in pergamena.
Il libro è stato venduto nel 2007 a Milano per 4500 euro, nel 2011, sempre in Italia, a 5500 euro, e nel 2009 da Christie's a Londra, un esemplare con sole 69 tavole ha fatto 4548 euro compresi i diritti d'asta.
