An amazing album of world-weary moving songs. The use of fretless bass may sound a bit 80's for some (but if you are a bassplayer you should listen to this for John Giblin's playing!).

I was sadly not introduced to John Martyn's music until 1973 with Solid Air. His Passion and love of expression and felling is Really deep and meaningful, I don't think he could ever just Write a song just for the sake of it. This album is the real height of his hurt and pain.It lead me to Buy and listen to all he has written . God Bless you John and Beverly.
I love everything about this cd I had ita long time ago and still love it just as much John Martyn is was a genius
