If your a Ellen Page fan you will enjoy her role in this dvd Juno, she plays a funny, witty, scared 16yr old high school girl who gets pregnant with her 1st encounter with sex. It tells the story of how she finds adoptive parents for her unborn child as well as remaining in high school being heavily pregnant & how her peers treat her. Her best friend is there to support her along with her dad & stepmum, the dad to Junno's baby also plays a good part of a lad who is scared that his best friend got pregnant whilst they experimented with sex & how their relationship develops into a couple. The story line is slow in places & could have been a bit more detailed in places & the end of the film is rather lame but over all I would say give it a watch & it definitely a chick flick movie not romantic or manly.........Read full review

Now, Juno the allegedly funny hilarious and cool movie. Ahem! I do not see how it is funny at all. The story has no substance to it. It is literally, a kid gets pregnant and gives it up for adoption to a woman. Then theres the weird side stories of the love story between the girl and the adoptive mothers husband, who wants to be a rockstar and divorce his wife for the life, which is just a little bit weird for a 30 odd year old man!!! Then the father of the baby and Juno get back together. The good bits are that the girl Juno is a really good actress. Also that the story is quite heart-warming and all that and gives an insight into teenage pregnancy and all that jazz. So its an alright movie but not one I want to keep so I am selling it currently on ebay. (dated 22nd January 2008)
We all wonder what would have happened if at the ripe age of 16, we fell pregnant. As this is the age where you are still in school, can't afford to move out and become a free bird, and are totally hormonal at the same rate, we all think it would be a nightmare. This cute movie has certainly covered all aspects of what to do and what not to do in this situation. Not only does it provide young teens with a view of how to cope, it does it in a witty and heart-warming way. Juno is pictured as the girl you wouldn't think. As a kind of outcast, but still popular within her own clique, you immediately build an affinity with her as she isn't just some bimbo that noone liked in school to begin with. Her sense of humour is a force to be reckoned with, and she will have you laughing with her quirky nature throughout. There are hidden twists at the end of the movie, and the director has made sure you won't know the final outcome of this movie. Reitman has removed all cliches and strips this movie down to the bare facts. Teenage pregnancy is not a good idea. Thoroughly enjoyed and would be a perfect movie to watch on your own, with your partner or with your family.Read full review
