This is a strange album as very few people I know have ever heard of it and this is usually a sign of a poor album but not in the case, it's has some good songs and some incredible songs. It's rare for Keane as it's an album with some unusual choices of guest vocals and even Timothy James Rice-Oxley the Keane keyboard player provide vocals on Your Love , which is the most melodic and deep song of the album. If your a Keane fan you may find it's mismatch of vocals not to your liking , I personally loved it and hopefully you would too.

Before this ep was released i listened to some of the songs on youtube and keanemusic.com and loved my shadow, but was really not very impressed with the other tunes on it,and thought that keane where going in the wrong direction from some of their older music, and was a bit sad because every other album they have done i have loved, and thought that this was going to be the first i did not! Then the more i heard stop for a minute,i actually thought it was a really good tune as well.I still didnt think that 2 songs i liked was enough to convince me to buy the whole ep though!I then went to see them live in cannock chase forest last weekend(which was great)and when they played some of these songs live, they sounded really good, and much better.I then decided to get the ep,which i did this week, and after now listening to it a few times it is actually really good, and i have grown to really like the album. So once again as has happened before, keane have proved me wrong when i thought that they where doing the wrong thing in moving away from their old music and into something new, because i think the new ep is really good now.Maybe other people will disagree with me,others may agree,i dont know, but all i can say is,if like me you may not like the sound of the new ep,give it a chance and listen to it more, and you never know,it may grow on you like me,and you will actually end up loving it!!Read full review
Keane have produced a lot of great music over the years, and really proved themselves when it comes to albums. Unfortunately, Night Train is not Keane at their best. Obviously there's the lead track "Stop for a Minute" which I like very much. A few other decent songs are mixed up in there, but the majority of the play time is taken up with half-hearted forays into an unfamiliar style. It's almost as if they're not sure whether or not to go for something completely new or to mimic their popular songs from previous years. The result is an...interesting compilation which is definitely worth a look - it may just appeal to you.
Amazing album from an amazing band. Something different from the band as its been a while since their last album. Great new sound from Knaan and just a fresh sound thats pleaseing to the ear.
This Ep is absolutely fantastic mu only critisism is that I wanted more, but it is only an EP. All the tracks were fantasic and weel worth the wait.
