Have been using this before, to control my frontal boldness. It says of course that its for vortex only, but had been using this for 2+ years and can say that it works, and regrows quite a bit. Then I decided to stop using it, and see how its going to affect it. Apparently the outcome is obvious - lost all that was regrown. So now here we go again. I only used to use this once a day, after my morning shower. Tie biggest issue was that because its frontal hair loss, the drops made it even more obvious. Now I will be using after work, and before bed time. Hopefully the results will be the same as before. Not expecting miracles, but should start seeing benefits after 3-4months. For somebody who's never used it, I could only recommend to try it, and use it for long enough to make a final decision. Don't give up easily, it will take time to become visible, and then it will take more time to improve the situation. Also combined this with nizoral and C1 shampoos, but now switched to Revita to compliment these dropsRead full review

I bought this because I have lost hair on my edges above either side of my temples because of years and years of lace unit wearing (tension alopecia) "not for use by women" is correct really because the side effect on me is the downey peach skin hair on my face has become denser, BUT nothing that my husbands philishave cannot shift. not werewolf stuff though or stubble. I dont expect my damaged hair to be as thick as before because unlike male pattern baldness, tension alopecia pulls the root bulb out of hair shaft, so in some places there is no hair there and never will be, until i'm ready to have follicular transplant ..at the same time ill book my husband in for a phallicular transplant anyway the plus side is that it had made my hair thicker, and the thin areas have baby hairs. I dont know what will happen if I stop, because I have never had a break in 2 years from once daily application oh and this is something you might not know - IF you bleach your hair, as a minox user, the bleach mixture might turn bright green (usually hair bleach mix is white or blue) on application, but using this product does not affect the usual good result of bleaching or dying your hair. Its just a case of 'OMG WTF SHT SHT OMG!' when the tint goes a funny colour. but when washed out its all good, and shade of hair is ok. plus sides.. it thickens hair/it strengthens strands minus sides.. it makes scalp dry and flakey/it makes hair a little dull and wirey be aware of fakes! this seller is a-okRead full review

I've used Kirkland minoxidil for a few years now. It's effects aren't quite what I expected. The greatest change has been a fairly luxuriant regrowth towards the front of my mop. The crown is still thin but not balding. I imagined that the foam was best way to go because of price but have changed my mind about this. The dropper allows you to deliver more minoxidil to the scalp versus the hair. It also leaves the hair less tacky. (I still find washing my hair at least every two days is essential. ) I apply the stuff by running the dropper as per ploughing through the hair. No pressure on the bulb. Half to the front, half to the crown. I use a hand mirror to help even application to the crown. No rubbing. This makes the hair less manageable. This works for me, along with a variety of shampoos.Read full review

I used to use Regaine but it was way too expensive, Kirkland is the same strength and is half the price. I noticed my hair was thinning on the crown about four years ago through using Creatine for long periods, it wasn't bald but you could notice it. I haven't touched creatine since. I started to use Kirkland along with Alpecin shampoo, the red one over 3 years ago, I wouldn't say my hair has completely grown back but it is definitely hasn't gone any worse and none is falling out, the hair that has grown back is finer though, I have short hair and its not that noticeable when styled with paste. What I would say is the sooner you notice your hair thinning and you do something about it the better, I can't see this product working if you are bald though. I feel this product has helped me but I think cutting out creatine has made the biggest impact on my hair.Read full review
