Overall probably best map for hill walking. I find OS 1:25000 a bit too cluttered and can be bulky and awkward to use when windy and raining. The colour coding makes it easy to follow terrain relief and key features for walkers and climbers are clearly marked. Good quality waterproof plastic paper and 1:40000 scale is good. 75m contour spacing not so natural to use but allows decent detail without being too cluttered. Lots of additional interesting info on reverse of map.

Certainly the best walking/climbing map of the area. The contours and other details are exceedingly clear. If you love maps—as I do—you'll love this series. They look great, feel great, are waterproof and good for safety when out in poor weather. Stronglt recommended
