Great camera if you want to be more creative, or get round problems auto cameras cannot cope with, with manual focus and exposure options and it has a viewfinder. Some drawbacks; viewfinder does not cover 100% of image but is better than nothing (which is the case for many newer compact cameras, that rely only on LCD screen). Auto ASA doesn't work on any of this series of camers for some reason. Takes AA batteries; a great plus point, in that they are easy to obtain and easy to carry spares, charged up.
WoW what a little classic, I missed this whole evolution of digital as I was into video, 3CCD then Hi-Def. This if not now regarded as a classic surely will be. So much sheer choice and control in a quite "pocketable" package. And the quality of the images is outstanding, at 8x6in I can not tell from a 10MP Sony. Add to that the "look" of the blue version, almost retro style. If you see one buy it you will not regret it, the quality is there in build and function.
