Fantastic dance album which still sounds fresh now! Leftism is the debut album by electronica musicians Leftfield, released in 1995. It was shortlisted for the 1995 Mercury Music Prize but lost-out to "Dummy" by Portishead . In a 1998 Q magazine poll, readers voted it the eightieth greatest album of all time, while in 2000 Q magazine placed it at number 34 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever.
i've been looking for this album for a while, it was one of those cd's that i never manged to get a hold off untill now!!! it's one of the best albums ever made!! well happy now i've got it!
I bought this way back in 1995 when it was first released, its been a main stay in my collection ever since, Comes out every so often and still sounds fresh. Ranks in my top 20 albums..
A colleague brought this CD into the office and I fell in love at 1st hearing. Came straight home and looked for it on e Bay - it was there, due to close in minutes! Good luck or what? It spends a lot of time in the player as it cheers me up no end - brilliant company to do mundane household chores (and good for the waistline too, with all the dancing that goes on). Recommend this to all music lovers - a must in the collection
