I already had a copy of the CD,but it wouldn't play anymore, because of scratches on it, because of the amount of play it had got.It is very good album, and it was at a good price that purchase was made at.

Bought this as a back up to avoid wearing out my vinyl copy(original 1990 pressing). This is ll's best album;reinvigorated after the patchy 'Walking With A Panther',with classic Marley Marl production throughout. Only the slightly dated sounds of '6 minutes of pleasure' & 'Illegal Search' cost this a five-star rating for me. LL in confident, brash & yet creative & intelligent form-even if some of the lyrics in the title track are over the top.
This was also on the Radio 1's best ever Hip Hop tracks for Mama said. LL has received some criticism in his time for some of the more sentimental tracks but there's no denying his talent as there are some great tracks on this album. How much of todays Hip Hop do you think will still be as fresh in 10 years time? I think they'll be long forgotten. Anyway Don't call it a comeback I've been here for years...... A must for your collection.
Bought this album originally on cassette when first released and absolutely loved it - had to buy it on CD for the better sound quality, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it has an extra track (remix of Mama Said Knock You Out. It's a real shame that this was probably the last good album LL made.
