These strings are red nylon / silver-wound. I personally think they sound great. - Lovely bright tone (like most new strings?) I like the tension / action of these strings. - So easy to play as they feel quite loose. Some people swear by heavy / hard action strings as apparently it can improve your tone and also volume but I heard that Flamenco players like loose and fast strings with a nice low action, so they can play nice and quickly, so I got these and I like them. The strings have a nice percussive tone which is probably what you want for Flamenco? Perhaps I should have checked which strings all the best flamenco players use / used but I am not a sheep and don't think the strings will make me sound like Paco much when my guitar is cheap and nasty anyhow. These strings do make my rubbish guitar sound much better though.Read full review

Very crisp sound for the money. Nice to play. Authentic flamenco sound. I have used these in the past then went on to much more expensive strings to try them. Ok, they were better in some respects but not in a huge way. Flamenco strings wear out very quickly so these are much cheaper to replace more often.

Great strings. I used La Bella strings when I first started playing fifty years ago. They are as good now as they were then. Excellent. No complaints!
