this is not a 15 min job. had to use a drift and hammer to split the motor from the bearing and wrecked the bearing (same size as skateboard). put it all back together and now doesn't pump air at all whereas before it was just weak. stripped down again to double check everything and reseal etc and still no luck. i have no idea what went wrong with the installation. so have ordered a new compressor. so all in i spend 2 hours making the pump worse and spent £37 doing it. the quality of parts is top notch though and you may have more luck than me.

Used this on my BMW estate. Had to use heavy hammer and punch to remove the shaft and damaged the bearing. Had to get new bearing and old one removed. Don't think this is a ten minute job its not. putting it back is a hit and hope affair. It worked so see how long it lasts.

You would be very lucky to disassemble the compressor without damaging it. I recommend replacing it. New replacement compressors can be bought for around £160

Kit will work well on a worn it compressor. However if you're not mechanically minded or have limited tools just buy a new compressor.

A little harder to fit than I expected but I will get to it and hopefully will fix the problem.
