Pretty much good to go out the box. The built in phono-amp means no need for a separate amp, just a set of powered speakers and you're good to go. It feels a bit like a toy what with the plastic construction but it is a good simple record player. I haven't used the USB recording features so can't comment on that.

Using this to download my vinyl collection and it's as easy as it gets. Sound quality of recordings is good and can only be improved by offering different format such as flac. Product would be even better with a pause record option. Overall though this is value for money product that is easy on the eye and doesn't require a pre-amp. One final note of caution to new users is that when recording only a short sharp press of the record button is all that's needed. If you hold it down too long nothing happens.

Easy to use, good sound quality and plugs straight into the back of the amp, no need to use a phono port as it has pre-outs. USB is really easy to use just play the record and click record for the usb stick. MP3 quality is at 192 kb as well.

Surprisingly good sound from a cheap turntable. The built in pre-amp works well and the sound is really quite rich. The balance and tracking on the tonearm are both good, not gouging precious vinyl and not jumping all over the place. The USB recording function works well producing natural sounding mp3 files.
