The Motorola Vanguard 320 router is a compact, flexible Network Access Device. It quickly enables Ethernet Local Areas Networks (LANs) and a range of terminals, PCs, workstations, and controllers to access public or private network services, such as ISDN, Frame Relay, and X.25. A desktop-size standalone device, this Motorola wired router incorporates two option-card slots to provide a flexible and cost-effective solution for transporting data, voice, and video across a network. As a flexible network solution, the Motorola Vanguard 320 Router can be configured to connect to the Internet with up to two serial applications. In addition, this router also has a serial link that can function as a network link and be used for link-failure recovery. As a comprehensive Network Access Device, this Motorola wired router can also relay Packet Voice over IP or frame relay, fax, digital video, LAN, and legacy data traffic over one network, which reduces long-distance charges and simplifies network management. This Motorola wired router also has 12 MB of on-board flash memory, allowing its software to be upgraded locally or across the network.
