I have been using other well-known brand for over a year now until it starts to switch itself off when I'm using it. I spotted this Paul Anthony's battery operated nose and ear cutter while I was searching for a replacement. The things that attracted me to it are : 1. The design: the product looks very professional and attractive. 2. Lightweight and looks durable. 3. Very low noise, barely audible when using it. 4. The spotlight which makes it easy to see the area you are cutting. 5. The battery life is longer than the one I was using before. 6. Very cheap. Though I bought this product not long ago but I can say it is well comparable to any high end nose and ear cutter but a lot cheaper. How long it will last before it breaks down, I don't know.

This is an average product; not too bad. It could have been designed a bit better because when it cuts the unwanted hair in nostrils and ears it leaves a bit longer hair stub when I compare it my previous nasal clipper/trimmer? My previous one was called Simbo: it was made in China and it was about £4 but one of the best one I have ever used. Since it was cutting the hair in a fashion that there almost nothing left from the clipped/trimmed hairs. I had bought it from abroad but it served about 3 years 7 months before it gave up. But I could not find the same or similar one! This item is twice as my simbo one but nowhere near to that item!

Very good item for the money, It has a powerful motor. and does a good job, build quality appears fine but time will tell. The trimmer attachment and the stand are nice extras. Have used the cheap ones before and thus is definitely a step up from those. Overall i would recommend this as a good item at a great price.

First of all : I'm not complaining. It looks and feels like the kind of product that works for a while, but doesn't last very long. But then I only paid £ 5.49 for it, so the "only" concern would be the environment (waste of resources for a short-lived gadget). And if you send me a chance to review it in 5 year's time, I will be happy to eat humble pie. Now to the specifics: The on-off button is a) too small to easily operate and b) a bit too hard to move. The attachments are fiddly to put on and not marked which way they attach to the main body. The trimmer blades don't seem to be very sharp. One of the seams joinig the two halves of the body together is loose, the other glued tightly together ?
