Overall, this is a very practical wireless mouse to have. It's comfortable to one's hand be it right or left, is light in weight, is conveniently portable. And as it is basic, uncluttered and possesses only the essential bare minimum of controls, is quite easy to use. Also, it comes with a miniature receiver that stores conveniently in a holder in the battery compartment; great for people travelling with their laptops!

My pointing device of choice is a Logitech M570 trackball but when I'm on the go, the M310 wireless mouse is a good substitute. It's large enough to be comfortable but compact enough to fit comfortably into my laptop bag. Its comfortable in the hand, even if it is a little on the narrow side. The action of the buttons and scroll wheel are positive enough to make it feel well built. It lacks the two little buttons on the left that a lot of mice have these days, but they don't really seem to do anything on the mice I use that have them, so no great loss. It's just a good, solid, basic mouse.
