I really love this mouse. It scrolls very smoothly, fits in the palm of my hand nicely and just feels good. I like the way the battery compartment opens for easy access to the batteries and the receiver can be tucked very nicely away inside, where it can't get damaged or lost. The "on/off" button on the bottom means my batteries last a good long time. To be honest, I have forgotten to turn the mouse off at night more than once and I don't think it has hurt the battery life at all. The scroll wheel moves just right, up/down, right/left. I particularly enjoy scrolling left and right on websites where the content is all over the place. One click on the scroll wheel and the application I am using currently zips out of the way and I can see my computer's desktop, if need be. Click again and the windows come right back where they were. The rubberized grips on the sides of the mouse provide plenty of grip so my hand doesn't get sweaty and the mouse might slip out of my grip. I can't find one thing wrong with this mouse. My favorite thing about the mouse? The color. The red is a deep red but not too dark. It's not too bright (candle apple, for instance) but a nice claret. Get one and it will become one of your favorite computer mouse very quickly.Read full review

I like this product so well that I have purchased two refurbished ones because they don't make it anymore! Very light, fits in your hand great, very accurate--I have used it on all types of surfaces without a hitch. The only bad thing that I have found is that the left button eventually wears out. Great product and wish they still made them as they are better than any of the new models I have tried.

My old M505 was on the fritz after years of use, so it was time to upgrade. Figured the M525 was four times better, right? Says "Mac Support" right on the package. Once installed, I found I no longer had horizontal scrolling. I use Final Cut Pro, Logic, etc., so horizontal scrolling is a must for me. Emailed Logitech Tech support, and they said I needed to install their control software. When that didn't work, they had me install another one of their utility softwares. Nothing. Did some research and found out the M525 doesn't support horizontal scrolling! Same series of mouse, only years newer with older technology? Why say Mac support, when a key feature has been removed and isn't supported? Having a mouse that doesn't horizontal scroll is like having Sonny without Cher, Jordan without Pippen, or House of Cards without Spacey! Long story short, If you're on a Mac and need horizontal scrolling, and you like the feel of the this M-series mouse, the M505 is the one for you! (BTW, it does provide horizontal scrolling on the Windows side)Read full review

This is one of the best mice ever made, for my hands anyway. Expect it to last for 10 years of heavy use. Remember to always buy the mouse that is the most comfortable for your hands. If you have larger male hands then this mouse should be good to go. Might be too large for smaller hands.
