I must confess I was a little hesitant about buying these, as well as a bit cynical as to the possible quality given that I always bought Shimano, and knew nothing of this particular brand. Nevertheless with an old steel framed hybrid to convert to drops, options were limited I decided to give this a go. By no means as refined in terms of design aesthetic as brands twice the price and more, nevertheless the manner in which these shift I really like. In particular with a paddle lever to shift up, and a smaller integrated button to shift down, these are a doddle to use whether on the hoods or in the drops unlike the Shimano Tourney option (which has a thumb button). Furthermore when coupled with a Claris Road Triple front mech, these levers shift really crisply, and beyond initial half shifts because I wasn't quite pushing the lever far enough over as I was adapting to these, I have been really impressed. So much so that I am considering replacing some Sora levers on an old Giant Defy with the Microshift equivalent. I would therefore have no hesitation recommending these for anyone looking for a set of 3x7 shifters for drop bars whether as part of a conversion project, or as a replacement for a current set up.Read full review

These were bought to replace the original SIS shifter. Fitted easily on in place of the brake levers. Setting up was a breeze and took no more than 10 minutes [after 5 minutes of getting my head round which way the shifting worked on the front]. A word of caution if you are going from bar mounted shifters, you will need to by some cable outer, as only the inner are supplied. I order mine at the same time , so no delay in fitting. Overall, I cannot fault these as I can now stop and shift slicker than ever.

Much cheaper alternative to big brands but just as sturdy. Yes, the shifting movement is different but not difficult to get used to and performance is not compromised. Fixing is the same as Shimano except for a flat head screwdriver bolt instead of an Allen key.

Bought as an upgrade to my Tourney shifters on a Carrera Zelos. Worth every single penny! Shifting on the drops is now not only possible, but brilliant. The brakes are purely brakes, with up and down shifter pairs behind them. You cannot shift more than one gear at a time and the build quality isn't quite as nice as the Shimano stuff it replaced, but I would take these shifters over the horrid Tourney ones every time!

Bought these as replacement for RSX brifters. Easy to attach to handle bars. Cabling simple and easy ti index. Double lever action feels solid and shifting accurate.
