This is the kind of DVD that I love and that I really want. There are some things that matter totally and Music Hall leading on to radio is my weakness. This DVD is a gem as it has a history has clips I haven't seen before. This is part of our heritage and its wonderful that some clips survive. A joy to watch and I know I will watch it many times.
This DVD offers an interesting insight into the world of Music hall Variety Theatre from late Victorian days onward. It is well presented by Lionel Blair and includes many original recordings as well as many pieces of film which I had never seen before, nor knew existed.
