These are mostly not 'acoustic' version of Marc's songs - they are a combination of tracks which were stripped down from the multi-tracks in 1996 and then over-dubbed by session musicians, with fake applause added, or tracks taken from American radio sessions to which the same fake applause has been added, and other parts overdubbed. Marc Bolan - Acoustic Warrior.
As a fan of the "old" T-Rex i was curious to hear this album, an acoustic album of various tracks mostly from the Electric Warrior LP. I have to say that it is amazing, some very different acoustic arrangements of some of Marcs classics (all live). if you are a fan of Marc/T-Rex and don't own this CD then i urge you to beg, steal (only joking!) borrow or preferably buy this CD. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.As a fan of the "old" T-Rex i was curious to hear this album, an acoustic album of various tracks mostly from the Electric Warrior LP. I heard a Marc Bolan track on the radio and it reminded me how happy his music was and how easy it is to sing your heart out on the long drive home from work. I bought it on a whim and I am glad I did. I own a little piece of history !

acoustic warrior, electric crusader
as a fan of marc bolan and t-rex, i was at first dubious to hear this. but it is in fact a must-listen, some great acoustic arrangements and live versions of electric classics. i now have to find more unreleased bolan music!

Good live album
This is a very good album as long as you dont mind the canned applause and highly processed feel of it. Some very good live (ish) recordings and great performances. I think a lot has been added in the studio at a later date. Well worth a listen though.
