I have purchased over a dozen of these low cost water heaters of another brand. I decided to try the Marey because the price was less and the warranty was longer. So far it works great and was easy to install but only time will tell as for it's long term durability.

It my be ok for some homes but get ready to have some rewiring done. I purchased the unit because the add said it is rated for less than a 60 amp circuit. I have a 60 amp(30 amps on each leg of the 220 volt circuit). When I had the water temperature turned up, the unit would trip the breaker. In order to get satisfactory water temp, I had to turn down the water flow rate. it may be ok for two old people, but not for a family of more than two.

So far this heater works very well but most products do--at first. I have tried to contact the manufacturer with questions about this product and have not been able to contact them by phone after repeated tries and e-mails go unanswered so I do not trust the product any more than I trust the manufacturer. I do not have any negative feedback about the seller.

It's reliable and produces a more than hot enough tap here in Southern California. If you want to run more than one shower at a time and want more than lukewarm then you may want to look at a higher GPH/KWH rated one though.

Took some time getting used to, but so far so good. Great for a small dwelling, like our casita which has only one full bathroom and utility area.
