    Good value for money and very well packed. THe only let down was the terrible service of Parcel Force. Loads of emails promising delivery each day causing someone to have to remain in the house for hours fruitlessly. Their tracking claimed there was an attempted delivery and a further re-delivery - all nonsense as the full tracking history said it hadnt even reached this distribution centre when they said it was a delivery attempt. Use another delivery service please.

    It Actually Works!!

    We were sceptical, but went ahead and bought this dehumidifier. Our upstairs especially feels close and stuffy, and one bedroom feels damp. So, we put it upstairs in the hallway. It does put out warmish air, and we felt it was making it feel even closer upstairs. After reading the instructions about five times, we decided we would keep the machine and set it up downstairs. Voila! It is dehumidifying the whole house. The upstairs numbers are coming down into a comfortable range, and the heat is far less noticeable with the machine downstairs. It is actually clearing up the whole house. We have to empty the water about once a day at this point, but hopefully this will lessen. And yes, we keep it running the whole time. It is doing a great job.

    Energy efficient and very effective.

    This dehumidifier isn't quiet but it is just a background noise. It doesn't use much energy and hasn't really affected our energy bills. We've used it to dry smaller washing items instead of using the dryer (not great for jeans & king size bedding) and also to get rid of condensation. The water then goes in the water butt. For the price it's brilliant. There's a louvre to angle towards your washing and a timer which is really handy to leave it on when you've gone to bed.

    Very portable with good features

    I have found the Meaco Dehumidifier to be quiet in operation, efficient and light enough to be moved around from room to room using the carrying handle. It is a nice touch having a digital display of the humidity as you can tell at a glance how well the machine is operating. Emptying the water tank is easy and I would certainly have no problem with recommending this dehumidifier.

    Very good dehumidifier for three-bedroomed house

    This dehumidifier was bought to reduce condensation and stop mould growth in my elderly parents-in-law's warm, cosy but over-insulated house. It was very simple to set to the required Relative Humidity, and then left to get on with the job. It has been running continuously for a couple of weeks now and seems effective, with my father-in-law emptying it every day when it gets full and automatically switches off. The LCD display tells you the current RH level so you can see the dehumidifier's effectiveness as this figure drops. My father-in-law was worried about the cost of it continuously running, but I explained that it's one of the most efficient dehumidifiers on the market, using 165 Watts, which on his contract costs about 60 pence a day to run.     Great for smaller areas

    It is a bit noisy, but does what it says on the tin. However, we have both the 12l and 20l versions of this dehumidifier. We picked up a used 12l very cheaply so definitely a good buy, but if buying new and you can accept the slightly larger size and extra cost, I think the 20l is worth it for the amount of water it extracts compared to the smaller version. The 12l is best for smaller areas.
