The new walking boots were delivered as promised. I have tried them out on a 9 mile walk. I had bought size 9 for my size 8.5 feet which are a bit wider, and have a higher arch, than average. With 2 pairs of Hoggs of Fife walking socks over my ordinary socks the boots still felt roomy but with the laces well tightened I got home with no blisters, aches or pains. So seemingly just what I needed.

Excellent boots. I'm a dog walker and this is my third pair of these. They last 2 years and I don't look after them nearly as well as I could. It's rare these days to find something reliable that's available year after year, without being 'updated' or replaced. Never had a blister, sore foot or twisted ankle, altho the eyes do tend to wear the laces after a while but they come with a spare pair. Fit perfectly with a pair of socks under a pair of walking/thermal socks. Buy with confidence.
