I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It is based on a true story and although it is quite upsetting in parts, you just have to keep watching. I would recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of film
My heart goes out to the Daniel Pearl's wife as the events must have been heartbreaking but the movie itself was quite dull. I love the scenes of Karachi and the atmosphere was quite realistic but I found the film itself not very stimulating. I did not personally think that Angelina Jolie was at her best (despite rave reviews) all be it quite cold in between bursts of french emotion. The scenes were repetitive with occasional bursts of activity but not quite hitting the button. Everyone behind the making of the film had good intentions, but the film itself is a bit boring in my view.
This is a fab film, i bought it to go in my angelina jolie collection as she's a fab actress but it turned out to be a really great film with a really in depth intriguing story line, especially as its based on a true story! if ur interested in true stories or the war in iraq then have a little watch.
Thought the Movie was true to the facts without adding hollywood shmalz or needless fiction to a harrowing story. Angelina Jolie proving again she is a actress in the same mold as Meryl Streep (with more range, Miss Streep probally would have not have been so nimble as Laura Croft even in her younger days!!)
