Catches them little critters like crazy. Great for use where you don't want pets getting into mouse poison. Set it and forget it. Use peanut butter or bbq sauce as bait to apply to trip plate. They don't get away.

I use mine to catch chipmunks, but have discovered if I'm not home and one becomes trapped somehow it figures out a way to release itself. Other than that this is a great investment and I recommend purchasing it if you are in need of a small rodent trap. I do use black sunflower seeds to lure them in, even piling some inside of the trap itself. As long as I'm not leaving the house for the day or a few hours, I don't have a problem with this trap. Then I'm able to get to the chipmunk in time. It has already reduced the chipmunk population around my house, although I still have a lot more to trap, lol!

Works great have been catching up to 2 mice at a time. Is easy to use, but sometimes a little tricky to set the trigger. Overall I'd recommend it to friends, it is very effective and catches mice without injury.

Got this to catch roof rats which began infesting our yard this summer and chewing on and getting into, many of our things we didn't want them to. It worked albeit it is defeated more often than it actually catches something. It turned out, it's too small for the rats. But, I've managed to catch and release several mice this summer and fall. The biggest issue is monitoring the unit and placing it where other vermin won't get to it. I've found it turned over, and the peanut butter licked clean away, many times when a skunk, raccoon or opossum got to it before the mice. Maybe even my own dogs!

This a small, lightweight trap - great for small animals such as chipmunks. I was unable to set trap so I could use both doors. One door was all I needed. It may be a little too light - as on several occasions I found it empty and tipped on it'd side. It may be advisable to put a rock on it after setting. I am very happy with this item.
