Very handy little soldering iron, performs well and is far more capable than you would expect from such a small iron. It has a fast warmup and cool down time and has motion and touch sensitive power on and off built in and comes with a little metal stand too. Good quality and easy to use, everybody should have one of these in their toolkit. See big clive on YouTube for a video review and teardown of this item. I would highly recommend anyone to give one a try.

This is a great little iron ideal for fixing small electronics, made short work of fixing a set of solar lights. Second time out, when removing the protective plastic cover, I pulled it apart. the two halves only joined by the element wire, see photos. I'm thinking bad design the tip/element is removable and should not have come apart in such a way. I'm guessing that the silver nut was not screwed all the way on and the cold solder on the tip helped pull it apart. I tried putting it back together but fried the board in the handle. so if your considering buying this iron bin the plastic cover and thread lock/superglue the tip/element nut and you have a great little iron. Hope this saves anyone else destroying their iron by removing the cap. Have reordered another! Would have got five stars Read full review

These things are absolutely brilliant for the small jobs and are so quick to heat up. I do like the touch switch but make sure you keep your finger on when working or it will turn itself off after a few seconds. I have just made up one of those DIY digital clocks and this thing had no problems keeping up with the small jobs. Don't expect it to do the big jobs as it is not made for that at all. It is just handy to have around should you need to do a small job. It is as light as a feather too and you can get replacement all in one tips and elements. You can also use this with a good power bank and take it anywhere and super for the car jobs you might have. Also will work with any USB wall adaptor and such a small tip you can do those nasty little micro USB ports on a phone. 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all aroundRead full review

A very useful addition to a toolbox for occasional use. It's not a replacement for a workshop or day-to-day soldering iron but is ideal as an emergency iron as it can run off a USB port or power bank for in-the-field or ad hoc jobs around the house. It is surprisingly effective for an eight watt iron. I have bought two of them.

Good: Plug'n'solder, heats up very fast. Can be used with a good powerbank on the go. Not so good: Spare tips costs as most as the soldering iron itself and they are hard to find. Bad: When used with a mains power supply, it leaks a small amount of current. That is not good for sensitive components.
