One of Adult Swim's long list of fantastic but short lived shows, Mission Hill offered a good mix of esoteric and low-brow comedy. I loved this show - most of us can relate to a sibling rivalry, and Andy and Kevin fought that battle daily. It's funny to see the 2000 verision of the comparison between "cool" and "nerdy." Even though the DVD was released in 2005, most of the episodes were written in 2000 and 2001. Another neat facet about this series was that there were almost as many directors for the show as episdoes. I just wish there were more episodes completed!
Andy French is an aspiring cartoonist who has trouble holding a job or a girlfriend even while he rooms with two other eccentric roommates in an apartment in the Mission Hill area of the city of Cosmopolis. The fact that he has to house his obnoxiously precocious younger brother, Kevin, is no help. However, this quartet of disparate individuals manages to struggle through life's bizarre trials even as they learn to get along. You can't go wrong with this DVD it's excellent and very funny something that you want to kick back and watch over and over
Loved this series when it was on Adult Swim a few years ago. DVR'ed this back then but lost them when my DVR died. Wished there were more. Love the humor!

I love this series from Oakley and Weinstein, some writers who worked on The Simpsons. They pointed out that there were not many teenagers and young adults on The Simpsons, and that launched the idea for Mission Hill. So, if you imagine a Simpsons cartoon based on that age group, with similar humour and sarcasm, and with animation that is brighly colored, vaguely retro and comic book-like, then that is what Mission Hill is. Highly recommended.
Phenomenal condition even for a used DVD
