This is the 28th Studio Album by a band that don't believe you ARE a band unless you're touring. If you haven't seen 'em live then thats something you have to remedy. In the meantime, pick up this, their latest work. The lastest 3 albums, Inferno, Kiss of Death and now Motorizer, are significant because each has been a contender for best album in a long time (and given the 'Head are consistently good, thats saying something). Motorizer proves that they remain relevant, vital, continue to provide quality albums and contribute to rock 'n' roll. "Rock out" and "When the Eagle Screams" are excellent songs and a prime examples in showing that on the one Hand, Motorhead will never stop cranking out enjoyable, fist in the air rock, while on the other hand showing that there is a wit, intelligence and social and political commentary, pushed forward by suitably barbed lyrics and loaded metaphor. Fans will love it, and those who have yet to see the light should find plenty to enjoy on this excellent album. I don't think its the best first album to pick up if you are wanting to check em out (Either Rock 'n' Roll or Live at Brixton might be better candidates there) but its no bad place to start. But then, its Motorhead, so there IS no bad place to start!Read full review
