The surface of the Walk was a lot rougher than I expected. I hope that the curing of it will smooth it out. In addition... The box was not taped well, and so the product was falling out of it when it was delivered. You might want to splurge a little more on tape next time, with such a heavy item.

These are fairly rough inside as one might expect. With a grinder you can pretty easily polish out the inside. Add a rubber disc and repeat with 50 grit sanding disc. Polishes up pretty well and ready for seasoning. They are a bit light weight so be careful never to immerse them in water etc while still hot.

Lighter than the Lodge cast iron wok but just as sturdy and easier to handle. After removing the original seasoned finish to bare metal and smoothed with an oscillating sander I seasoned with new oil in 550-600 degree oven for 1 hour and let cool down. Did this for 6 days and it turn out smoking black and smooth as a newborn babies behind. Nothing sticks and so easy to clean. I have 15 cast iron cookware pieces and like this best of all .....

It's a real nice wok for twice the price after you clean and season it. I used a propane torch and a wire wheel in an angle die grinder. Heat an area then wire wheel the black coating off. I then put it on my propane gas grill on high to 600 degrees for 1 hour. It made smoke. Let it cool. Oiled it up and put in oven for an hour @ 350 degrees.
