There is a lot to get through but it looks very comprehensive. A lot to learn and I am steadily getting through it. It does mention a clutch which allows the motor to run continuously and disengage the drive to the chuck when required. It points out that this is better for the health of the motor than stopping and starting it regularly. Maybe I have missed it but unfortunately, although it shows a picture of the clutch assembly not mounted, it doesn't show how it mounts on the lathe. The lathe I am using, which had a previous owner, i'm sure doesn't have the clutch which seems to be an optional extra. Just like the Myford lathe, the book is an excellent buy and much cheaper than buying the manufacturer's original manual.
