I have used these cable sets for years, and overall I'm very pleased with them. I live on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific, so nothing lasts very long before it rusts out. These do very well as long as the covering isn't nicked or scraped, but then it's all over in a month or two. The shifting is very smooth and the price is pretty fair, so I definitely recommend them. The mention I made of the fine print is this: The cable housing is 3000mm, which is good and long, but the actual cable is only 2100mm. If you don't look carefully you might think you're getting a 3000mm cable and housing. I understand that the housing is for both cables, just saying to read it carefully.

Crisp shifting and no lube necessary. These cables are wound in such a way that friction is inherently reduced. Cable housing is easy to cut. Having all the ferrules and cable ends is a nice touch.

Replacing inner and outer cable together is essential for best shifting. I had shop do inner cable only initially and my shifting was stiff and difficult. This kit is one of the highest rated kits on Singletracks and replacing both did the trick. BUT, only do this if you have proper cable cutters. Regular wire cutters will lead to frayed cables and a failed job.
