I gave the Venom Pro Duo Dual Power 80W AC/DC Charger five stars... great price, good versatility, solid set of connectors included; it's complete and ready to go to work. I like the Venom brand-name... solid hobbyist products at a nice price. This is my second charger... my older one didn't do LiPos, and I am headed into working with electric aircraft: gotta go Lipo. The first task I gave it was to charge my 12v 4A flight-box Pb battery. I had to tell it the charge rate I want... .3A, in this case... When I pushed "Start", it detected the number of cells and confirms the battery type and then started charging. The unit responded as per the instruction sheet and charged that battery... reporting FULL when it was done. It shows you elapsed time and the current voltage of the battery. The unit has only five buttons on its face... and it has MANY functions and menu items, so there is a bit of a learning-curve for you: you will learn the mind-set of the unit's designers as you use only those few buttons to access the many features of this charger. The unit is silent except for the quiet internal cooling fan that cuts on and off, as needed, while it charges the batteries. There is no "On/Off" switch... "plugging it in" turns it on. Plug it into the 110V AC wall plug or your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter cable. So far, I have charged several 5-cell NiMH receiver and transmitter batteries, a 4-cell NiCd, a 3S 1300mah LiPo (charged in LiPo Balance Mode)... all without incident and all with easy success. I charged a couple of batteries at the flying-field: my old Blazer doesn't have a 12V tap... so I used jumper cables attached to the vehicle's battery under the hood, and then used the Venom Pro Duo Dual Power's alligator-clip 12V connectors off of that jumper cable. It worked just fine. Because it's a DUAL charger, you can charge two batteries, two very different batteries, at the same time. This charger has two 80W chargers, each independent from the other... you can be charging the Pb flight-box battery on one of them while you are balance-charging a LiPo on the other one. I am very satisfied with my purchase of this charger.Read full review

It’s decent, has some nice features. Although, when I charged two batteries, it seemed like it didn’t fill the capacity, so I plugged them back to run them again and it charged them for another hour!! Finally they seem fully charged. Works good but might as well figure two hours and two charge cycles.

I chose the Venom because I know their Batteries are a great product. After viewing the pictures and then receiving the product I was actually expecting the charger to be larger then what it was. This is a good thing as it can be easily stored in my travel case. This charger came with a lot of different charging cables and connectors to charge it from a car battery. I think the only thing this did not come with was the temperature monitors. It has connections for them but does not come with them, I might just be picky but the charger came with every other cable, why not just add them as well for the complete package. Operation of this charger was very simple. I just looked up a YouTube video and learned how to use it, It was very easy to use. The charger is a little loud with the two fans, one for each channel. That would be my ONLY negative for this charger. Other then that I give this product an A+. Read full review

Easy to navigate through programs because menu options are just like other chargers. Charge and or store different types of batteries simultaneously. Its compact. Charges LiHV. It has cooling fans for each channel. DC power supply option. It's the little brother to the Quad Pro. The only Con I can find is it could have given us at least 1 usb charging port. The Quad Pro has two

Inexpensive, powerful, and a lot smaller than the photo makes it. Super easy to use with the ability to charge 2 lipo's at 7amps each, takes 30 min to balance charge my 3s 8000mah packs. Keep in mind though it comes with several types of leads it only comes with one set of each. Lastly it comes with the adapters to run it on a 120 wall outlet and alligator clips for field 12 volt charging.
