This is exactly like its name, Maximum Impact, its very hard to complete first time around, dont even try to finish it first time!!! But if you work up to the full video over a couple of months then its absolutely brilliant!! I used it for 1 year and combined with healthy eating i lost a whole stone!!! have actually bought this DVD again after the first copy i had i lost some time ago, so i re bought it because it is so good!! A must for anyone serious about losing weight, but beware you either join in or just march on the spot as there is no easy option. Also look out for the black guy in the background who seems to be doing a completely different excercise routine to everyone else.Or at leats he has a completely difefrent way of doing some of the excercises. A highly reccomended DVDV.
i bought this dvd to lose weight. its fantastic if you are used to exercise but being a novice i found it very hard but i managed about 30 mins but i felt it in my calfs the next day theres too much marching no break which is too much hard work for a novice but extremely good for a amature the guy behind nell is lovely he makes you laugh hes got his own way with the exercises. would be nicer if you could see more of the novice ones in the dvd.i think its based to much on nel and it makes you feel a little useless when you have to stop for a rest and nell goes on and on i lost interest but a exellent dvd if you have the stamina. the mans a bit over powering giving his orders but they say no pain no gain. it will be fantastic once ive built my exercise up to a much higher level.ilost 3 pound in weight in 1 week but found it hard work but i will def come back to itRead full review
I thought I would buy this DVD as I have Davina's "The Power of Three" and I needed something a bit harder. I have a ten month old baby and am desperate to get rid of my baby belly and this video definately attacks this area. The resistance workout is hard but brilliant for toning the whole body, the routines are easy to follow and the music is good. I try to go to body pump at a fitness centre twice a week and do the Nell video when I find Davina's too easy. I have toned up completely and lost half a stone since Christmas (without dieting!!). Don't be too dishearted if you jump on the scales and haven't lost weight, remember muscle weighs more than fat but if you try and do half the video 3 times a week you should lose inches and be on the way to a leaner more toned you!!
Another great fitness DVD by Nell, I started off with her Ultimate Challenge DVD which is much more intense then this one. So I found this (Maximum Impact) didnt give me as much of a workout. I would advise anyone to start out with this one first. It is easy to follow, not too intense and lots of fun...!
