A good, sturdy radio that functions well with as clear a signal as you get on such radios. However there is a 'but. Why, oh why, is the radio frequency shown in huge digits as the main feature of the display whilst the channel number is so small and difficult to read. Who really cares about the frequency when being able to read and select the correct channel is so important? If there is a need to show the frequency, which the vast majority of users do not, need to know, surely the display of it and the channel should be reversed so that the channel number becomes the main feature of the display.

Although the radios are easy to use, I felt the large display showing channel frequency? or whatever it is unnecessary. A simple channel number and possibly signal strength (if possible) would have been better. The battery lasted the full weekend we had them away and although they had very light use on the Sunday, we had them on for 7 hours straight on the Saturday. The signal lasted over a good distance and we only lost it when we walked round a track which put a large hill between the two of them. Overall a good product.

This is an excellent two way radio set, bought it to replace our older models of binatone not because they were faulty as had them many years and still working the radios are clear sound long battery life of which it is easy to change with triple A rechargeable batterys if you need a back, up the range is good and will work anywhere in our immediate area inside or out around our Village which is surrounded by hills but in flatter ground the range is extended a lot where no obstructions are there to block signal.

Well if anyone has any previous experience of two-way radios you know that the advertised range is pretty much fantasy .so I deliberately bought these with a 10 kilometre range in the hope that they probably work maybe 5 in the real world, they are good but if you're using them between two cars your Range is probably no more than one to two kilometres but overall for the money I think they good value
