This is an excellent light weight voltage indicator with well designed probes that can quickly be altered to gain access to the deeper tunnel type terminals. I especially like the way you can store away the insulated tips without losing them. Another useful bit is that you can screw on large uninsulated tips on to the probes to convert them into standard Banana type tips, this means that you can push one probe into a standard crocodile clip and clamp it to earth and use the other probe on say a row of din rail connectors when fault finding. Another useful trick is to be able to quickly and safely test for phase rotation saving me having to carry a three wire disc rotation device along with all of my other test gear. I am fortunate enough to have accurate charts and drawings where I work, so I always know the circuit origin and its method of protection where I work but the other day I was called to an unfamiliar property and was asked to isolate a couple of circuits during some alterations, unfortunately their records of this property where non existent. However I was able to identify the circuits origin by simply using the High current tripping mode to identify the Rcbo's. This is an excellent Voltage indicator and has many features that I like. I bought it to replace my old machine that unfortunately got run over on my last site. This unit is very user friendly and unlike my old model does not require you to select a test range.
