We got this combi oven and the 6th sense oven for our new kitchen. Totally impressed with this combi. Really simple to use and intuitive. We didn't have to read the manual. Though I recommend you do as I am aware that some users have said its not that easy to use. The only minor downside is the alarm is quite silent. We have a big house and cannot hear it if we're upstairs. The other minor downside is if you like your food well done (like we do) you have to leave it in a bit longer (only when using manual function) I love the options were you select what you're cooking e.g. pizza, roast chicken etc and it uses 6th sense technology to preheat, cook then cool down. For this feature you can select how well done you need it cooking. Clever!

Its a great unit a direct replacement for an older hotpoint (it lasted 10yrs), my problem is the operations it's a right pain. The previous model was 2 knobs, whereas this can be 20 presses of the button to go through all the menus, it doesn't have a timer and the maximum time you can set is 90mins which isn't great. I was doing something the other day forgot to extend the timer, noticed it had gone off pressed the on button again and adjusted the timer, however the default setting is microwave so I'd put the microwave on instead for 40mins.

This is a nice and slick designed built-in microwave. However the way it operates is driving me mad. To do to something really basic, like heating a cup of milk, you have to go in a number of sub-menus and probably press 10 times the buttons on the screen, while , in my previous Miele, you could do the same by manipulating a knob and pressing a button. I have used so far only the microwave function and it is slower than my previous microwave, even if this is the same power (900w). Maybe this is because it is bigger? It takes 1.3 to 2 minutes to warm a mug of milk, while it was taking 50 seconds in my previous microwave. However, the jet defrost works well. Other interesting feature: the oven was delivered with a quick start guide, but all the functions and recipes are only described in an online manual, which could have been included with the oven. Given that the menus are clearly not intuitive that would have been really helpful. It is a bit cheap on Whirlpool. I wish I had seen how the menu operates before buying this appliance as I would have bought something else. I cannot comment on the many other functions of the oven, which might be good. The only nice feature is therefore the look...Read full review

Excellent product with many good features. Easy to follow menu - select what you want from the touch screen and press 'tick'. It doesn't give you any programme details for the sensor cooking in the instructions but as it's only been installed for a few days I've got lots to learn. So far, very good
