Quite simply Yuasa is now the only make of bike or burglar alarm battery i will buy because they outlast all the makes i have tried including original equipment that were not Yuasa by a huge margin and they are little if any different in price from far lesser batteries.

Every couple of years I have had to buy another battery for my trusty Vespa, the last one being a cheap and chearful job. under the advice of a friend who runs his own Motorcycle shop he recomended the Yuasa make. These come dry with a bottle of sulphuric acid which you need to fill the battery, this stuff is nasty so wear protective clothes and eye wear as told to in the included instructions. i had a readily available source of fresh water available as the tineiest of splashes burns! In the instructions they recomend a charge after, so after that I put in back in and the bike roared to life. Cannot comment on longevity however they seem to fit these to all sorts from new so must be good. It's a battery at the end of the day, but they are not all the same!

Prefer a gel battery because it's less mess etc. but this is definitely an improvement on the Exide battery I had for just over a year when it packed up.
