I bought this for a replacement to an existing fan of the same make and model that was 18 years old. I used the fan assembly and grille and light cover on my existing box. Directions indicated to replace entire unit you needed attic space or install before sheetrock is installed. In my case that was not feasible and the parts installed perfectly in the old metal box. This is a 70cfm fan compared to the 50 cfm that was original to our home. Very Pleased.

This model was instaled in my condo when it was built in 1975. The bearings finally went. While I would havve prefered a quieter model, this allowed me to replace the guts without having to replace the casing in the attic which would have been a problem as I do not have access to the attic. I works well and the only negative is the noise, which I knew when I put it in.

Good fan but didn’t come with light assembly. Not a huge problem since I can use my existing light and cover but it would of been nice that it came with it so I can use the new grille cover so everything looked new

It was cheaper to buy this new fan with free shipping than to buy motor assembly and pay shipping for existing bath fan

The box was a little mangled due to shipping, the fan inside is GREAT! - fan is quiet - Light fan combo (the way to go)
