This makes a great chew toy for the average dog and is big enough to keep the pets interest for extended periods. The only drawback is when the dog is an avid and hard chewer - it does fragment slightly but not enough to be majorly problematic however if your dog is of the above type and chews hard with strong jaws regularly inspect the toy to remove loose fragments that may be swallowed later - overall very good value and quality.

I bought this after reading how dangerous rawhide chews can be. My dog was happy to receive this bone but is now bored with it. Also noticed some sharp edges from the moulding which Ive had to smooth off. I have since read that worn nylon bones are also potentially harmful if pieces are swallowed. Wouldnt buy again.

I purchased the Nylabone Dura Chew - X Large Bacon Flavour after reading Many Reviews here on eBay and other websites and forums. I was still a bit hesitant as my Rottnshepherd (Rottweiler cross German Shepherd) although only 16 Months old has a tendency to chew and destroy any toy given to her including the red Kong Toys. She has had it for a week now and although shes chewed both ends to the point where i've had to reshape it with a sharp knife every day due to the rough ends she creates she will not put it down Unless there is Real food available. I think she Loves this Nylabone Dura Chew More than Me... A friendly warning, If like me your dog follows you Everywhere then be prepared for the inevitable knocks on your knees and scratched legs from the Nylabone Dura Chew as its quite long and heavy and once chewed can have sharp edges. The pieces that come off of the Nylabone Chew are a bit smaller than a grain of rice so shouldn't cause any problem if ingested and with a smaller dog I would think the pieces would be smaller again. That being said though, I wouldn't take it away from my Bella as she Loves it more than Any other toy she owns and she has quite a few. Would I recommend this? Yes and I already have done to 2 of my neighbours who have a Black Labrador, a Shih Tzu and a Hairy Rat oop's sorry I meant a Yorkshire Terrier. Is it Good Value? For the time it keeps my dog occupied (always under supervision):- Yes, most definitely 100%. For the Price I paid (£9.82 including P&P):- No and the reason I say no is because they are Mass Produced and Cheap to make which is not being passed down to us the customer. Would I Buy another one? Most Definitely Yes although I would try to find it cheaper. I'm Not a Scrooge though, I'm Disabled and have to watch every penny so need her toys to last longer than a week. Is it Good Quality? Even with a dog like my Rottnshepherd that could probably Crush Diamonds with her teeth then I would have to say Yes. All in all this has been a Perfect toy/chew for my Bella and I reckon that if you're looking for a Tasty Bacon or one of the other flavoured Nylabone Dura Chews then you are looking at one of the best around and your Best Friend will thank you for buying it ;0) All the best Marc & Bella the DestroyerRead full review

I thought this was an excellent idea for my dogs teeth and gums and a safer alternative to meat bones sadly my dog hasn’t shown that much interest so far I’m going to try putting peanut butter on it to make it more appealing to him

Product looked good, good size and well made, unfortunately my 8 year old collie wasn’t interested, we had brought it to help with the plaque on his teeth, will have to go back to raw hide unfortunately
