Bought this lens because I bought locally a second hand E-P1 body. The lens is in good condition and compares to the 'normal' four thirds lenses in his category (I have a 14-45mm lens witch I use with my E-1, and the quality is comparable. The only thing that doesn't work as good is close up photography. I can't get close up shots most of the time since the lens (or the camera, I haven't figured out yet witch one is the guilty part) won't focus. But quality overall is good to very good for a lens in this price category (entry level). One thing I also had to get used to is that the lens can collapse when not in use. This is a feature that doesn't exist with four thirds lenses, but is very handy when the camera is not in use. It keeps it just small enough to fit the (rather big) pocket of my jacket. Overall it's a good lens for every day use. I only gave it a four out of five because of the focusing problems when trying to take a picture from closest range.Read full review
This is an excellent addition to my equipment giving clear and precise focus. The focal range allows for clarity in zoomed image and in wide angle. Simple to use and made of durable material I highly recommend this lens.

It has arrived in good time and is the correct item, even if it looks a little different to the part it is replacing, it works fine. As to the other questions, I will need to keep it and use it a while to be sure it's ok. Looks good so far.

Incredible how they fit such a wide zoom range into such a slim lens. Makes a mirrorless camera pocket sized. The zoom range is a bit longer than the Panasonic 12-32mm, but image quality lags behind just a little.

excellent lens, very quiet when focusing. bought simply because I had inherited a camera and needed a quality general purpose lens.
