I purchased a VERY expensive air band scanner , some years ago . It was rubbish and difficult to use . This Omega works well considering how reasonably priced it is . My only complaint ? is the channel control knob has a rubbery & stiff feel to it making channel selection a bit hit and miss , other than that it is good value for the money considering that you can pay upwards of £150 for a radio which only does the same thing .

When arrived, radio was partly falling apart. With loose parts inside and a broken hold for screw in battery compartment, it was a mess. Can not resive more than betwen 2-5 stations here in Norway. It was so bad that i didn't bother to send it back either. Quality is so bad that anotherone of these is abouth the same. Glued it together, but not using it, because it dont resive anything. Total waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS PRODUCT LIKE MOST RADIOS ARE COMPLETELY USELESS IF USED NEAR OR WITHIN TWENTY FEET OF COMPUTERS, THIS IS NOT FAULT OF PRODUCT! COMPUTERS MAKE ANY ANALOGUE DEVICE USELESS .....SO TRY IT OUTSIDE AWAY FROM FONE MASTS ETC ......ITS A GROWING PROBLEM IN THE UK, AND CAN DECIEVE MANY PURCHASERS TO THINK A PRODUCT IS NO GOOD WHEN IN FACT IN A COMPUTER FREE ENVIRONMENT THEY ARE EXCELLENT. IF SOMEONE CAN COME UP WITH A PRODUCT TO STOP DIGITAL INTERFERENCE THEY WOULD BE A MILLIONAIR OVERNITE.
