She is the former managing designer for Writer's Digest Communities; she has designed more than 140 books and several magazine publications. Claudean loves training her crazy dog Nacho and forming strong opinions about movies and pop culture. Scott Francis is a writer and an editor. He edits for HOW and Print Books. He is the author of Monster Spotter's Guide to North America (HOW Books 2007) and co-author of The Unofficial Hobbit Handbook (Writer's Digest, 2012) and The Unofficial Middle-earth Monster's Guide (Writer's Digest Books, 2013).
