I bought this to replace an eight year old machine which was not medically certified. Much prefer this model - easy to use with very good instructions. I have found the 'average' facility very helpful as readings can vary considerably. Good, well designed arm cuff and very clear display. Yes you can buy cheaper models but as this one is medically certified my GP is happy to accept home readings.
