i want a harp holder like the one i got in the mid 60s when i was in high school, same design and size that Bob Dylan used, i thought that was the only kind there was. When i took up harp again recently, i went to find a harp holder and i found many different models with different features with different shapes and sizes, but none like the simple 10 hole diatonic harp holder i used to have, which Dylan seems to have in videos i see on you tube. Most of them don't come close. This one does. It has the two wing nuts (many just have one, on one side, not effect), they tighten well, other than that it's simple, it fits as i would expect. The only problem i have is that this one is 8 inches wide, and that changes the size and the fit in such a way that the harp is too high while i'm singing, and when i want to play it, i can only reach it if i keep it really close to my face, which wasn't necessary with the traditional kind that nobody makes anymore. Bottom line--it doesn't fit right, which seems to be because it's too wide and seriously, i don't know of anyone who uses anything but a 10 hole harp with a holder. I wish some company would make the kind that people used to use which worked so well. I appreciate that this one IS that kind, except, too big. They weren't this big and awkward back in the day. If you go to harp discussion forums, you will find people asking "what harp should i get that will fit and be at the right angle to my mouth," and experienced players will answer and say, "The answer is, you can't. There is none like that." why??? anyway, i give this one 4 stars and would give 5 if they offered a smaller model because otherwise it's what is needed, no fancy shapes and tighteners that aren't wing nuts and don't work.Read full review
