The Oral-B Pro 2 2000N Cross Action is an excellent electric toothbrush for the following reasons: two speed high and lower gentler speed options, 30 second timer, red-light pressure warning light to help user protect gums, long lasting rechargeable lithium battery gives over 2 weeks use before recharge is required (could be longer as have only had the brush for 2 weeks and it is still going strong)!

I have had two of these in two weeks and both have the same problem. They charge and work perfectly when kept on the charger and it is plugged in. If you unplug the charger or go away for a night taking just the toothbrush, it doesn’t work. It flashes red indicating it needs charging even though it is fully charged. You have to put it on the charger for a couple of seconds to clear the fault and then it work perfectly again. One doing this would just be unfortunate fault. But two doing exactly the same within days of purchase. It seems there is a manufacturing fault that needs to be addressed.

Love the 2 minute timer with the 30 second pulse intervals and also love the red warning light feature that lights up if too much pressure is used. I’m hoping this is going to help me towards having less trips to the dentist.

I have only had 1 electric toothbrush so I can only say it does what I expected. Having alarms every 30 secs is a good feature but the unusual thing is brushing for 2 minutes.😉

This is my second Oral-B 2000. I have bought and tried almost every other electrical toothbrush out there. Nothing lasts as long or cleans as good as the Oral-B electronic toothbrushes. While Oral-B 600s, 650, 1000, 3D and battery powered are not bad, I have come full circle and am back with the 2000. For me personally, I find this the best. When fully charged it lasts the week. Has a 2 minute timer and warns you when you press to hard. The clean you get is like you have just been de-scaled by the dentist. This should help giving you less trips to the dentist. These are toothbrushes are available in most supermarkets and chemists at all different prices. If you don't mind waiting a week or so, online shopping is cheeper. Worth every penny no matter where you get yours from.
