All parts store easily inside the maker so no pieces to lose. The strainer eliminates the need for cheesecloth. I just use the sprayer on my sink to clean it. It works like advertised. It takes 12 hours so you have to time it right because I don't think you can just leave it til you get around to it. I am enjoying mine!

It's no fault of the product but it takes a long time to make a very small batch of Greek Yogurt - at least 15 hours and the end product only fills 3 of the jars that are included. I'm experimenting with the timing because if the batch is left too long it becomes too thick. If the six jars included with the yogurt maker are used, they produce regular yogurt, not Greek style. For Greek style, the yogurt needs to be transferred from the large container to the tray to drain the whey and it is awkward and a little messy. The unit works well but I'm not sure if the results are worth the time and effort.

This yogurt maker will make a fairly thick yogurt from 2% milk in 8 hours. With other machines I've used the yogurt came out more like a smoothy. The jars are wide enough for easy cleaning, too. I would recommend this to anyone who prefers home made yogurt to store bought.

the jars are small so it'll be a constant daily chore making yogurt but there is a large container in the product to keep going till the next batch. The one bad item that is missing is a THERMOMETER THAT IS A REQUIREMENT to make the yogurt without guessing the right temperature. And it is very hard to clean as the jars have grooves and indentations

I have made 4 batches in it. It is very convenient. I love that you can make big batches or just the small jars if you want.
