Outwell Bear Lake 6 with carpet, Front extension and electric hook up lead
You cannot get a better tent than an Outwell and the Bear Lake range is the most comfortable and practical tent for family camping. We have seen these grow recently in popularity during our 6 years of camping.
For full specification and Description please look at the Outwell website.
Our tent was purchased new in 2010 (we upgraded from a Norfolk Lake) and has been used on 5 occasions totalling 32 days. It is always packed away clean and dry and is in excellent condition with all zips, toggles and straps in full working order. There are no stains, tears or rips other than the usual odd mark you get when camping (grass etc)
We love camping and have spent 4 years with tents, having had a caravan prior. We are selling as returning to a caravan as have to make most of weekends which is easier to pitch up with a van than erect a tent etc. That said, the tent takes approx 1 hour to pitch fully with 2 people (just takes us all day to set up our other bits - glampers!!)
Included in the tent is a front extension, Please note; this is not the official Bear Lake extension as was only introduced in 2011. This is a Minnesota 6 front extension and therefore Poly material not canvas. however, it fits like a glove on the front of the tent, is same colour, easy to erect and provides an excellent addition. We have always used this as a kitchen/dining area and keeps us dry.
There is the Outwell carpet - this is amazing, easily cleaned and most definitely makes it warmer on the feet and more cosy.
There is also a 3 plug RCD fused electric hook up lead which comes in its own hard carry case (This alone is worth over £50)
The tent is very warm in spring and autumn when a chill in the mornings/evenings due to being canvas and fully enclosed. In the summer it doesn't get to hot like the Poly tents and very comfortable to lounge around in.
If your new to tenting or have no previous knowledge of Outwell/Canvas tents than I urge you to look on the Outwell website where you will find all the info about these tents including the full descriptions and specifications.
The tent comes with everything mentioned in the Spec (except the rather pointless door mat!!)
Payment by Paypal only. Collection in person within 7 days.
There is a cheap method of delivery by courier (www.senditnow.com) which is effectively Parcel Force. This is a bit cumbersome in that the tent itself has to be packaged in 3 parcels due to weight limitations, The onus is on me to print the delivery labels and attach and then send this to you - where you have to be in to collect. Price is around £50-60 (fixed price given when delivery postcode known) - this fee would have to be added to the final payment through Paypal. Once posted i could not guarantee delivery unless you pay the insurance fees associated with the delivery. Have a look at the website and run a delivery test (our postcode is Gu73PA)
Happy bidding. Any questions do please ask. Is being advertised elsewhere so may end early and open to buy it now.
We also have a trailer for sale on Ebay which we use to carry all our camping items
