      An exact match...

      This part appears to be as well-made as the Land Rover part. My problem was leakage from the coolant system, and the 13-year-old expansion tank had suspicious cracks in it. Replacement of the part has certainly made a difference. Since the replacement, I have monitored the coolant loss, and so far there has been none. Fitting was uber-easy, just one rivnut, which I broke during removal, but fortunately I had a spare. You should have one to hand, in case you break yours. My advice: It's a simple, cheap fix. If you suspect your old tank of leakage, go ahead and do the swap. It may fix your problem in one fell swoop.

      Direct Replacement.

      Very satisfied with purchase. Quite a difference in size to the original (initially - "Oh wrong one"), but perfect fit. Much easier to install than I expected. Best price too.
