i got this product as i had one when they first came out and i loved it then and all the older games that went with it. i like this product cos it is small and compact. there isnt really any thing i dont like about it.
although a little dated now. this is console has some brilliant games..i myself love to play abes oddysee, aliens, and v rally.... i have just found on ebay syphon filter, another platform classic... dated visuals, and sound, but still great gaming
Reminds me of my youth and i love playing it. Im not a massive gamer so this console is easy for me without all the complicated console jargon which a PS3 carries with it.
Have been trying to get a playstion 1 for months. Very excited when I finally won one. Was a blast from the past. Couldn't wait to get home and play some games
It's a Playstation 1! Most of you will have heard of it... but for those who haven't... It is the original machine from Sony. It uses Discs and was the most powerful machine of it's type when released. It is now badly outdated in terms of technology but is still very fun to play. There is a huge selection of games for the playstation including titles like Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Gran Turismo, Toca Touring car series, Tomb Raider etc. The list of classic games is endless. You can also play CD's on the playstation through your TV. The Playstation requires a memory card to save games. There are many types of controllers for the Playstation, I would recommend a 'Dual shock' controller as the original ones are light and don't feel as good to play. The Playstation is very easy to use. It does not connect to the internet, it is simply plug and play and has no subscription fees. Standard, the Playstation has 2 ports for controllers, you can purchase a 'Multi Tap' to enable further controllers to be connected. Now the Playstation is very inexpensive, as are most of the games and equiptment for it.Read full review
